A group of angry young men on Wednesday night set on fire a suspected armed robber.
He was allegedly to have been terrorising the people of Ohafia and Abam communities in Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
It was gathered that the suspected robber whose name was given as Ebube, aka Azaman, is a native of Ebem Ohafia. ABN reported.
An eyewitness said that the late Ebube met his waterloo when he attempted to rob a businessman in one of the settlements when a hunter who was passing by raised the alarm.
This attracted a mob who lynched him and set him on fire. Ebube was said to have earlier escaped from police custody in Ohafia.
