Governor Rotimi Akeredolu And Wife Cast Vote At Ondo State Local Government Election

Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and his wife were seen casting their vote at the ongoing Local Government Election In Ondo State.

10 political parties are participating in the election which is been held in 18 Local Government areas of the state today, Saturday August 22.

There have been an impressive turnout with a free and credible process, Governor Rotimi said.

He added: “Today I exercised my civic duty and cast my vote in our ongoing Local Government election. General feedback from around the state has been very encouraging with impressive turnout by our people for the exercise.

Rotimi Akeredolu said there have been little issues and complaints with the voting material which are been addressed by Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).

I”t is clear that they trust the free and credible process which began months ago and has led to this day. The process has not been without a few hiccups, majorly complaints of inadequate voting materials and delays which ODIEC is addressing.”, He said.
