Davido signs new artiste Deinde from “Mtn project fame” to DMW

Davido has officially signed a new artiste, Deinde Okubajo to DMW records.

Deinde also known as “IBINU” was a contestant on the music reality TV show MTN Project Fame West Africa. He studied Business Management at the University of Leicester.

Davido called Dehinde “A real gem with the mic and pen” as he announced the official signing on Instagram. “Everyone join me in welcoming my new artiste to the DMW family ! @deindeofficial ! A real gem with the mic and pen.” He said.

“Trust me when I say watch out for what’s to come ! Time for you to soar bro !” He added.

The 32-year-old who is from a family of two (him and his mum) started singing in J.S.S 1 when he ran into a chapel in a bid to escape punishment. He was then made to join the choir and voila.

The newly signed singer shared an appreciative post on Instagram “If you believe, tepa moshe and PRAY. No be by power, no be by agidi. Thanks for welcoming me to the Family Boss!!!”He wrote.

In a video retrieved by Gistvic, Deinde performed “Melo Melo”, a song by Nigerian singer, Olamide, at the MTN Project Fame Season 8.0 in 2015.

A year after project fame, Dehinde released a single titled, “Marry You” — The song was a hit in 2016.  The Nigerian singer was praised for his aggressive and energetic craft and stage presence before and after the music reality TV show.

This is coming few months after Davido signed Ayanfe into his record label, DMW Records.
