Lagos State University, LASU, address the student after ASUU locked up the school during a protest today, September 14th.
On Monday, The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) locked up LASU gate until their demands are met.
While a representative of the university spoke to the angry students, Acting Dean Students Affairs, Dr. Tajudeen Abayomi Olumoko said the school will resume fully next week Monday.
“We will solve the matter between now and Friday. Go back to your respective homes, go to your boyfriend’s places and come back next week Monday for activities.” He said.
He added: “The school has been opened, because of workers asking for minimum wage, we want to tell you that you should go back home and come back next week Monday.”
“Any contrary information we shall get to you through you student representative.” Olumoko said.
