Fast rising Nigerian singer Super Wozzy real name Awodoyin Oluwamayokun Isaac has been arrested by the Nigerian Police/ SARS.
The singer alongside two of his friends were arrested in Ogudu area of Lagos with their car tyre deflated by the police. “This is area H ogudu.. they deflated my tyre i don’t know why they blocked me on the express.” Super Wozzy said on his Instagram live video.
In the IG live video, Super Wozzy lamented on how he was once arrested and asked to pay the sum of 50 thousand naira. “They collected 50 thousand, I no see the money collect till today … We no dey give them any money. Shey naa everybody dey do illegal nii wetin happen.”
Few minutes after he was arrested and taken to the Police station, The Nigerian police found indian hemp and charm inside his car after a thorough search.
A police representative while speaking on the arrest said the boys were stopped because they were driving a tinted vehicle which is one of the ways Kidnappers transport their victims. “Please help me to judge now, people with this kind of a car you can’t even see who is inside. Is there anything wrong with police asking you to wind down”, The police woman said.

Some Nigerians feel the drugs were planted by the police. “what if they planted that shit ? so it can all make sense when they want to charge them ?” A Twitter user said.
“How sure are we that these guys were truly in possession of the indian hemp? Nigeria police can implicate them. In as much as you cannot arrest Christian with anointing oil,Muslim with the rosary,you can’t arrest traditionalist with a charm.” another twitter user said.
Nigerian Human rights activist Segun Awosanya popularly known as Segalink, while speaking on the arrest said the issue has been looked it and the Nigerian singer alongside his friends would be released as soon as possible. “They will be released shortly. All has been sorted. He said on Twitter. “It is not against any law to smoke provided you are not caught with commercial quantity of substances with the intention to distribute. This is where the crime is. Babalawos don’t get raided so charms are not contrabands.”
