Prof. Ibrahim Gambari Replaces Late Abba Kyari As Buhari New chief Of Staff

Professor Agboola Ibrahim Gambari as been appointed by President Buhari as his new chief of staff. The 79-year-old scholar and diplomat hails from Kwara State. He was minister of external affairs between 1984 and 1985. Gambari replaces the late Abba Kyari who died on April 17, 2020, shortly after testing positive to CoronaVirus. On March 4, 2013, Ibrahim Gambari was appointed the pioneer Chancellor of the Kwara State University, the ceremonial head that presides over convictions to award degrees and also supports the vision of the institution.

A Kano State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructures Development, Engineer Muaz Magaji who was sacked for celebrating the death Abba Kyari, has tested positive for Coronavirus.  Magaji announced the result of his coronavirus test on Facebook and further revealed that he has been moved to one of the isolation centres in the state.
