EFCC arrests lecturers and 28 internet fraudsters in Kwara

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) have arrested two lecturers of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa and twenty-eight others over their alleged involvement in offences bordering on internet fraud. The name of the two lecturers arrested are Abdulahi Opashola and Adebisi Ademola A statement released by the antigraft agency gave the names of the twenty-eight suspects as: Kingsley Essien; Tobiloba Adenuga; Tope Ayodele; Rasheed Mujib; Oladipo Opeyemi; Saadu Muktar; Oladejo Hammed; Hammed Tope; Ameachi Umenyi, Salauden Adam and Afolabi Gafar. Bridge Collapse During Heavy Rainfall In Kwara, One Person Dead & Two People Missing

A bridge has collapsed at Oko-erin, Ilorin, Kwara State on Saturday night, June 13 after a heavy rainfall. An eyewitness said a car carrying three passengers fell into the canal after the bridge collapsed.  “The bridge collapsed around 10pm on Saturday night because of heavy downfall. Newly Appointed Commissioner Olatunji Abel Dies In His Sleep In Kwara State

The Kwara Government has described the death of newly appointed Local Government Service Commissioner, Olatunji Abel, as a great loss to the state. The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Gov. AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq, Malam Rafiu Ajakaye, confirmed the passing away of Abel to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Ilorin. NAN reports that Abel, who hailed from Igbaja in Ifelodun Local Area of the state, died on Saturday of a suspected heart attack in his sleep at his home town.
