183 In Lagos: “Another Lockdown Loading” – Nigerians React To Increase In Coronavirus Cases

With the increase in the coronavirus cases, Nigerians are worried there could be a second phase of the lockdown. On May 7th 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 381 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. Kano Commissioner Who Celebrated Abba Kyari’s Death Is Coronavirus Positive

A Kano State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructures Development, Engineer Muaz Magaji who was sacked for celebrating the death Abba Kyari, has tested positive for Coronavirus.  Magaji announced the result of his coronavirus test on Facebook and further revealed that he has been moved to one of the isolation centres in the state. He wrote:"This morning my NCDC test is out... I have been confirmed Covid-19 Positive... And have been moved to one of the state facilities...pray for us! “Will This Lockdown Ever End” – Nigerians Ask As 51 New Coronavirus Cases Recorded

Nigerians are worried of an extra 2 weeks of Lockdown as 51 new coronavirus cases has been recorded according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). In a tweet on Friday April 17, the NCDC reported 32 cases in Lagos, 6 in Kano, 5 in Kwara, 2 each in the Federal Capital Territory and Oyo, and 1 each in Ogun and Ekiti. This bring the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria to 493, discharged cases 159, and Deaths 17.  51 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria. Total 493.
