A Nigerian mother who is also a grandmother was allegedly beaten up by police officers on Friday, September 11th. The incident started when her car got hit by a truck, she got angry with the truck driver which resulted to the intervention of a police man ( name unknown) who ordered her to move her car away from the road. The woman however received "dirty slaps" and was beaten by the police officer when she tried opening the door of her car, A Facebook user Tomi Akporoghene Wojuola shared on the social media platform. Two police officers have been confirmed dead after their car crashed while they were chasing a commercial vehicle in Akwa Ibom. According to reports, the officers, who were driving an official police car, chased after a Sienna carrying passengers along the Ogoni/Akwa Ibom road. In the course of the chase, the police car crashed into a bush and somersaulted. Two officers died in the crash while the Sienna zoomed off.
