In a whirlwind of online attention, Shiloh Hendrix, a Rochester, Minnesota mother, has raised an astonishing $290k through her GiveSendGo campaign, “Help Me Protect My Family.”

The fundraiser, launched on May 1, 2025, follows a viral TikTok video that allegedly captures Hendrix using a racial slur toward a 5-year-old Black child at Soldiers Memorial Field Park.

Now, with donations reportedly flooding in at $25,000 per hour according to BestLagos, Hendrix has set an ambitious new goal of $1,000,000 to secure her family’s safety.

The incident reportedly began when the child attempted to take items from Hendrix’s 18-month-old son’s diaper bag, prompting her response.

The video’s rapid spread led to Hendrix’s personal information, including her address and Social Security number, being leaked online, resulting in threats and harassment. Her GiveSendGo campaign has become a lightning rod for debate, drawing both fervent supporters who believe she’s a victim of doxxing and critics who argue the fundraiser glosses over her actions.

Rochester’s community is reeling, with local leaders like Mayor Kim Norton and the NAACP calling for unity and accountability. The Rochester Police Department is investigating but has not released details on potential charges.
