EFCC Arrests Three “Yahoo Boys” For Romance Scam In Abuja

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has arrested three suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja. The "Yahoo Boys" were arrested for their alleged involvement in romance scam, identity theft and other internet-related fraud. The suspects, Ajayiton Harry (27), Okoro Daniel (28) and Oziegbe Precious Ehijele (27) were arrested in their hideout in Flat G2, Plot 334, Dawaki, behind News Engineering, Abuja, following intelligence volunteered by concerned citizens in the area. Items recovered from the suspects include, two Lexus R350 SUV, three laptops and expensive phones. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Elderly Man Caught Molesting A Lady Inside An Abuja To Akure Bus

An elderly man has been caught molesting lady inside a bus amid the rape and murder of a University of Benin student inside in a church. Twitter user, @DanielFaithArts, who posted the video online said his sister was molested all the way from Abuja to Akure by a male passenger who sat behind her inside a bus. In the video, the alleged molester can be seen touching the lady's thigh severely as they traveled together on Monday.  The Twitter user said his sister was forced to video the incident after she first screamed about it, and was told by other passengers that she was overreacting. In a viral photo, four (4) kids were abandoned by their mum who left to buy mango in Abuja. The four kids; twin baby boys, a girl and a boy were found sleeping on the floor. Cloths and provisions were given to the kids and also a small phone was handed to the the boy for communication. Video Of Fire Outbreak at NIPOST Headquarters In Abuja

There have been a fire outbreak at Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) headquarters in Abuja. An eyewitness said the fire incident occurred when a large number of staff of the agency were in their offices.  The fire which has been put out by firefighters, affected the second floor of the building located in the Garki area of the city. The Cable reported that before the arrival of fire fighters, residents and staff were seen throwing things including stones at the building in a bid to put out the fire. Man Electrocuted In Abuja While Trying To Fix Faulty Transformer Fuse

A man identified as Yakubu Alhassan, was electrocuted in Anagada community, a surburb in  Abuja while trying to fix a faulty fuse in a transformer. The residents said the deceased popularly known as Yakubu NEPA was a staff of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) but the company’s Public Relations Officer, Fadipe Oyebode, said the deceased was neither a staff, service provider nor contractor of AEDC. Four out of six armed robbers who invaded a branch of First Bank in Mpape, Abuja on Saturday have been apprehended by the security operatives and killed one. The armed robbers were said to have stormed the bank shooting sporadically into the air to scare people away. Some staff of the bank were on duty to balance their account as at time of the incident.
