Tennessee church robbery

Two women were caught on camera posing as friendly congregants team up to rob an elderly member in a Tennessee church.

Watch the video below:

The robbery, which was caught on the church’s security cameras and posted online, shows one of the young women asking the elderly member for prayer. As soon as she engaged the church member, the accomplice began rifling through the elderly woman’s purse.

The Clarksville Police Department, which is now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the accused thieves, stated in a statement on Facebook last Thursday that there were four ladies working together at Hilldale Baptist Church. They were caught on camera leaving a Sam’s Club after using a church member’s credit card.

“The victim is a 78-year-old female who was in the Hilldale Baptist Church sanctuary at the time of the incident. She was approached by two black females and after a short conversation, one of the females requested the victim pray with her. While they were praying, the second female rummaged through the victim’s purse and stole her wallet.” The Police said.

“There were a total of four (4) females together at Hilldale Baptist Church and you can see three (3) of them exit Sam’s Club after they used the victim’s credit card shortly after the theft. The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these female suspects.”
