30-Year-Old Male Shot and Killed in Chicago’s West Side Shooting
A 30-year-old male was shot and killed in a violent incident at 5214 W Washington Blvd.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched to the scene after reports of a shooting.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and lower extremities. Initially, a female companion attempted to transport the victim to the hospital but crashed en route.
Ambulance 23 transported the victim in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
At the scene, investigators found at least 10 shell casings, indicating the intensity of the incident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
