Man escapes death after car break failure

Man survives fatal accident after brake failure. A middle-aged man, has escaped death by the whisker at Regina Caeli junction, Awka, when he reportedly jumped down from a moving vehicle following alleged break failure. The man however was knocked down by a hit-and-run vehicle, causing him various degrees of body injury. Passers-by helped the victim to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.

Five men where vidoed carrying a gigantic yam which was harvested in the southeastern part of Nigeria, Anambra State. The men struggled for hours before they could successful uproot the yam. The yam weighs over 190kg. They later had to gather enough strength to carry the massive yam home for eating in Obeledu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra state. Anambra state has many other resources in terms of agro-based activities such as fisheries and farming, as well as land cultivated for pasturing and animal husbandry. The Anambra State Police Command has paraded twenty-five male suspects over cultism related activities including drugs possession and illegal possession of firearms. The suspects who are mostly teenagers, were apprehended in different parts of the state by the command's Special Anticultism Squad, SPACS. During interview with pressmen, some of the suspects confessed to be members of different cult fraternities, including JBC and Aiyes. Man Shoots Friend In Anambra Over N1,000 Debt

A 27-year man identified as Friday Asuquo on Friday shot at his friend, Kingsley Araino with a pump-action gun, intending to kill him, over a disagreement that ensued between them as a result of N1,000 owed him by Kingsley.
