WAEC Releases 2020 Timetable For August/September Exam

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the timetable for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate, August/September Examination. The examination date and timetable for West African exit students was released on August 4. The examination will start from Monday, August 17, 2020, and it will be completed on September 7, 2020. WAEC Nigeria in a statement on Tuesday, August 4, signed by its Head of Public Affairs, Demianus Ojijeogu, advised candidates to disregard other versions of the examination timetable in circulation. 2020 WAEC And NECO Exams Postponed Indefinitely – Government

The Nigerian Government has announced that this year's Senior School Certificate Examination organised by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO) will be postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak.  According to Emeka Nwajubu, Minister of State for Education, government has made provisions for students to learn online. Coronavirus: WAEC Postpones West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) in Nigeria has postponed the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates, 2020, until further notice. WAEC was earlier scheduled to commence on April 6, 2020.
