“I can’t believe the world abandoned Afghanistan. They will kill us” – Woman who left Afghanistan speaks

A woman who arrived in Delhi on Sunday on a trip from Kabul in Afghanistan said her friends would be killed and women would lose their rights.
“I can’t believe the world abandoned Afghanistan. Our friends are going to get killed. They (Taliban) are going to kill us. Our women are not going to have any more rights,” She said.
The Delhi-bound Air India aircraft, which took off from Kabul at the same moment the Taliban entered Afghanistan’s capital city, had 129 people on board.
With President Ashraf Ghani stepping down, the Taliban have taken control of Afghanistan’s war-torn country.
