Pregnant woman, Shanice Young, shot at NYC baby shower while breaking up fight

Authorities say a pregnant lady, Shanice Young, was tragically shot while attempting to break up a fight at her baby shower in New York City early Sunday.

Shanice Young, 31, was a mother of four and was expecting another child, WPIX reported.

According to the news station, at least two of her children attended the baby shower in Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood.

According to the New York Police Department, officers found Young with a gunshot wound to her head, unconscious and unresponsive, WABC reported.

According to WPIX, Young was attempting to break up a quarrel between her ex and a man she was presently dating when bullets were fired.

No arrests have been made, and officials have not revealed any information about the shooter.
