Antony Matheus dos Santos, simply known as Antony, started his youth career with his hometown club Sao Paulo and made his debut for the first team in 2018.

After six goals in 48 appearances for Sao Paulo, Antony earn a move to Europe when Ajax and Erik ten Hag paid £13million for the then 19-year-old in February 2020.

Since his move to the Eredivisie, Antony has registered 24 goals and 22 assists in all competitions, helping Ajax to two league titles and one KNVB Cup.

Antony scored 13 minutes into his international debut after coming on as a substitute during Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Venezuela in October 2021.

He has since won nine caps for his country, and also started all six games for the Brazilian Olympic team on their way to winning gold at the Tokyo 2020 games last year.
