Deon Ledet Identified as Suspect who shot Houston police officer

The identity of the suspect who was shot and killed during an exchange of gunfire with Houston police officers on Monday morning. FOX 26 reported.
The suspect has been identified as Deon Ledet.
Ledet, 30, has seven prior felony convictions on his record, including two aggravated assaults with a dangerous weapon and three fleeing arrests.
In November 2020, he faced felony charges for possession with intent to deliver and one for possession and bond is set at more than $60,000.
Then Ledet appears in court, where the judge reduces the bail to $20,000. He walked out of jail the next day.
Ledet was also required to attend pretrial services and have a monitoring device by November 30.
However, Ledet did not appear in court in December. He was a wanted fugitive by January 2021.
