After four years of dating, the pair got engaged in December 2021 after four years of dating.

During a concert in their hometown of Chicago on Saturday, December 18, Lil Durk got down on one knee and proposed to India Royale.

The rapper planned to ask India at a local radio station’s Big Jam performance at the United Center in front of hundreds of fans to make the proposal extra memorable.

Durk took India on stage after his performance and got down on his knees, saying, “Do you want to be my wife?” in a viral video.

India said “yes” without hesitation, and the crowd erupted in applause for the newlyweds.

However, in October 2021 Lil Durk shut down rumors that he cheated on India Royale with a transgender woman. He later shared a photo kissing India, “y’all know damn well this s*^t 4eva.” he captioned.
