A Chicago man was extradited from Houston to face a murder charge in the Rosemoor neighborhood incident in April.
According to authorities, Edward Roscoe, 29, was the suspect who shot and killed Jessica Johnson, 30, who was seated in the driver’s seat of a car in the 500 block of East 103rd Street on April 25.
Johnson was hit in the head and body and was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she died.
When Roscoe arrived at O’Hare International Airport on Sunday, he was charged with first-degree murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
