Damar Hamlin’s Gofundme has surpassed $3.8 million as fans show their support for the NFL star who was left in critical condition following a collision during a game Monday night.
In December 2020, Hamlin, 24, created a GoFundMe page called the ‘The Chasing M’s Foundation Community Toy Drive’ to purchase toys for children ahead of the holidays.
“As I embark on my journey to the NFL, I will never forget where I come from and I am committed to using my platform to positively impact the community that raised me. I created The Chasing M’s Foundation as a vehicle that will allow me to deliver that impact, and the first program is the 2020 Community Toy Drive.” He wrote.
“Sending lots of hope, prayers, and positive energy to you and your family.” wrote a donor.
“My prayers go out to Damar’s family and teammates. Get well soon, Damar. We love you!” wrote another.
