Justin Johnson, 23, identified as Rapper Young Dolph Murder Suspect, $15k reward
23-year-old Justin Johnson has been identified as the suspect who killed rapper Young Dolph.
According to a news release issued Wednesday, Justin Johnson, 23, is wanted for shooting and killing Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., better known by his stage name “Young Dolph,” on November 17.
The rapper was shot dead at Makeda’s Cookies on Airways Boulevard near Ketchum in Memphis.
Johnson was charged with first-degree murder and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Johnson is also wanted on a federal supervised release warrant. TBI has him on the run for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and property theft.
A $15,000 reward is being offered in Johnson’s capture.
For Johnson’s arrest, the US Marshals Service is giving up to $10,000, while the MPD and Crime Stoppers are offering up to $2,500.
TBI has also placed Johnson to its “Most Wanted” list. A $2,500 prize is also being offered by the TBI for information leading to an arrest.
Johnson stands around five feet eight inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, according to authorities. On his right arm, he has the name “Jaiya” tattooed.
