War Thunder F117 leak

War Thunder

On the official forums, a War Thunder player leaked restricted documents.

This is not the first time this has happened.

According to Wikipedia, this is the twelfth time, and the second in less than a month.

This time, a user is accused of leaking classified pages from a flight manual, which contained information such as:

  • Sensor locations
  • Firearms angles
  • Engine specs and more

Some Twitter users immediately pointed out that the information is not classified.

About War Thunder

“War Thunder” is a popular free-to-play online multiplayer combat game developed and published by Gaijin Entertainment. It was initially released in 2013 and is available on multiple platforms, including Windows PC, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game primarily focuses on military vehicles from the World War II era, the Korean War, the Cold War, and beyond. Players have access to a wide variety of vehicles, including tanks, aircraft, and naval vessels, from different nations such as the United States, Germany, Russia, and Japan. The game offers a mix of arcade-style and realistic gameplay modes, catering to players with different skill levels and preferences.

Key features of War Thunder include:

  1. Aircraft Battles: In the game’s aerial battles, players can pilot a range of fighter planes, bombers, and attack aircraft in dogfights and air-to-ground missions. The game models realistic flight physics, and players can engage in both arcade and simulator battles.
  2. Ground Forces: War Thunder features realistic tank battles, where players can command armored vehicles from various historical periods. This includes World War II tanks, Cold War-era armor, and more. The ground battles are divided into realistic and arcade modes.
  3. Naval Combat: Players can engage in naval warfare by commanding a variety of warships, including destroyers, cruisers, and battleships. Naval battles are dynamic and take place on the open seas.
  4. Combined Arms: Some game modes allow players to experience combined arms battles, where aircraft, ground vehicles, and naval forces are integrated into the same battle scenarios.
  5. Research and Progression: War Thunder has a research and progression system that allows players to unlock and upgrade vehicles by earning experience points and in-game currency.
  6. Realistic Graphics and Damage Models: The game is known for its impressive graphics and realistic damage models, which accurately simulate vehicle damage and destruction.
  7. Historical Accuracy: War Thunder strives for historical accuracy in terms of vehicle models, weaponry, and vehicle performance.
  8. Customization: Players can customize their vehicles with different camouflages, decals, and modifications to enhance performance.

Please note that the game may have evolved and received updates since my last knowledge update in September 2021, so I recommend visiting the official War Thunder website or checking the latest news from the game’s developer for the most up-to-date information.
