Kailah Bledsoe: Woman shot dead in Gresham

A 22-year-old woman identified as Kailah Bledsoe was shot dead on Sunday in Gresham on the South Side.
Kailah was in the 7600 block of South Morgan Street when a woman walked up to her and fired shots, Chicago police said. The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m.
She was struck in the face and rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, the Cook County medical examiner’s office and police said.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
