Kari Lake wall build

Kari Lake, a former journalist who is running for the Republican Party’s governorship in Arizona, has promised to finish the unfinished segments of the border wall in her state, even if it means building on federal grounds, defying Joe Biden.

“It’s the federal government’s obligation and duty to protect us, It’s in the constitution”. She said. “The federal government is supposed to be protecting us from invasion…….. they are failing us”.

We could recall, In September Former President Donald Trump endorsed Kari Lake in Arizona’s 2022 governor’s race.

Trump chose Lake over state Treasurer Kimberly Yee, former Congressman Matt Salmon, and Arizona Board of Regents member Karrin Taylor Robson from a crowded Republican field.

In a statement announcing his support for Lake, Trump stated that “few can take on the Fake News Media like Kari,” referring to her years as a television journalist.

“She is strong on Crime, will protect our Border, Second Amendment, Military, and Vets, and will fight to restore Election Integrity (both past and future!),” he said. “She is against Covid lockdowns, Cancel Culture, and will end ‘woke’ curriculum in our schools. She will do a far better job than RINO Governor Doug Ducey–won’t even be a contest!”.

Last year, President Joe Biden narrowly defeated Trump in Arizona. However, Trump and his Republican supporters have worked hard since then to avenge that defeat.

Lake is a former Fox 10 Phoenix television anchor who ran for office this year, commencing her campaign with a media-bashing video and a desire to participate in Trump’s culture wars.

She has railed against mask laws, called for tough border enforcement, and pledged to “build the damn wall.” She’s also reiterated Trump’s bogus claims about election fraud, pushing for the decertification of Arizona’s general election results in 2020, which isn’t legally conceivable.
